Career Advisors can assist you with choosing a major, deciding whether to attend graduate school, developing your resume, preparing for the interviewing process, negotiating a compensation package and making a career change. If you are just starting to plan your career or develop your resume, or have some questions about how to best use the Career Center's services, walk-in to one of our locations and visit a Peer Career Advisor. Each Career Advisor specializes in a particular college and can assist you with applying your major to a career path and identifying career trends in your particular field. To schedule a one-on-one or telephone appointment, please contact the Career Center at (312) 362-8437 (Loop) or (773) 325-7431 (Lincoln Park). For Electronic Advising, send an e-mail to the Career Advisor who specializes in your major or field, including your full name and e-mail address with your career-related question. Peer Career AdvisorsPeer Career Advising is a good place for students and alumni to begin the process of career planning. The Peer Career Advisors are undergraduate and graduate students who have been carefully selected and trained by the Career Center to work with students and alumni in an advisory capacity. A Peer Career Advisor can provide:

Peers can be a great resource even for the most experienced students and alumni, because they know what Career Center services are available and can give you pointers on how to best maximize those services.
